SOUBIN SHAHIR

Soubin Shahir has become an imminent part of the Malayalam Film Industry. He’s currently the most sought after Actor. In the recent past, Soubin has played an array of challenging characters and he seems to be hungry for more. His first full lead role was in the film Sudani From Nigeria (2018) for which he won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. He’s got his hands full at the moment. However, his conviction in the script and the Director’s vision led to him giving the nod for Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25!

National Award winning actor Suraj Venjaramoodu needs no Introduction. He’s already making himself worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame of Malayalam Film Industry. And when he came on board to play the character of Bhaskaran (Subrahmanyan’s 70 year old Father) making this Casting Coup one for all ages. To witness Suraj and Soubin share screen space with such strong characters gives both actors immense opportunities to display their fine acting skills and is a treat for the audience. Suraj brings in a ton of experience and does justice to Bhaskaran with class and finesse.

SAIJU KURUP

Saiju Kurup is an extremely gifted actor who works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. He debuted in the critically acclaimed movie Mayookham (2005) by Hariharan. He has starred in several films as the main lead, villain, supporting artiste and done guest appearances in several more. With his ability to make any role his own, he was the perefect choice for the role of Prasannan. Whether it’s humour or intense dramatic scenes, Saiju plays the part with absolute conviction.

KENDY ZIRDO

Found this gem after auditioning more than a hundred foreign models and actress all over the world. Kendy zirdo is a student in Hyderabad university who will be appearing as soubin shahir’s Japanese girl friend in the film. Its her debut performance on silver screen and its a treat to watch her performing with funny Malayalam accent and brilliant timing. The added value of android kunjappan !!

Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval is a name synonymous with Production Design, known by the name of his Production Design company - INKLAB ZINDABAD, based in mumbai. After being the Production Designer for Hindi Feature Films like Force, Badhaai Ho and Mard Ko Dard nahi Hota, he also ventured in the Malayalam Film Industry with films like Kammttipaadam and Ezra. What would be a career choice for most, Production Design was only a stepping stone for Ratheesh to achieve his long desired ambition - to Direct a Full Length Feature Film. He’s directed Short Films (RADIO) in the past which has done rounds of festivals and been critically acclaimed. And finally, he’s yielding the megaphone for the very first time at the Big Stage.

Sanu John Varghese is the Cinematographer for Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25. He has been responsible for films like Wazir, Hasee To Phasee and more recently Badhaai Ho in the Hindi film Industry. Vishwaroopam 1 was his collaboration with the creative genius Kamal Hassan in the Tamil Industry. Jersey in Telugu. And Take Off which was accredited with not only critical acclaim but also Box Office success in the Malayalam Film Industry. During the process of crewing for AK V 5.25, there was one avenue which involved no deliberation or consideration. The entire team was always confident that it was Sanu who would be the cinematographer. Sanu is the pure definition of an artist. He’s a storyteller and a fine technician which makes him the ideal craftsman to convey this story.

Santhosh T. Kuruvilla is a Producer in the Malayalam and Tamil Film Industries. He is the Managing Director of Moonshot Entertainments and Chairman of OPM Dream Mills Cinemas. Having Santhosh T Kuruvilla on board as the Producer was an absolute blessing for Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25. He has been the epitome of what a Producer should be and his experience and his leadership has paved the way for this film being a reality.

Saiju Sreedharan is one of the most talented editor in Malayalam film industry. how exceptionally good he is at his craft can only be told with the kind of films and filmmakers he’s been associated with. Saiju has edited films like Rani Padmini, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Mayaanadhi, Maradona, Kumbalangi Nights and Virus. That’s a phenomenal list of films for any technician. And hence, the crew was extremely proud, elated and happy to know that Saiju Sreedharan holds the command and control over the footage of Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25.

In less than a decade, Jyothish Shankar has about 20 Malayalam Feature Films on his reel as a Production Designer/Art Director. That speaks volumes about his calibre and his skills. His last two ventures as Production Designer were the much acclaimed Kumbalangi Nights and Virus. Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 had a varied l is t o f ch a l len ges with in th e Ar t Department which were tackled by Jyothish with absolute ease.

Bijibal Maniyil is a National Award- winning Indian composer and playback singer in the Malayalam film industry. Bijibal entered the film industry as a composer in 2007 with the film Arabikatha. He won the National Film Award for Best Background Score in 2013, for the film Kaliyachan. Bijibal has also done several non-film Malayalam albums including the one named Vasco Da Gama. So when it came to music and background score, Bijibal was as easy a choice as it could be. Bijibal will compose 4 songs and the background music for Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25

National Film Award for Best Audiography in 2017 for Kaadu Pookkunna Neram and two Kerala State Film Award for Best Sound Recordist for the same film in 2017, Jayadevan Chakkadath has proven to be one of best sound editor and recordist of the Malayalam industry. He is known for creating an apt atmosphere, he masters the audio in the audio-visual medium. He has been a part of creating the sound for Hindi Feature Films such as Goliyon ka Rasleela Ram-Leela, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Fitoor and more recently has been a part of the highly acclaimed Malayalam Feature Film - Kumbalangi Nights.
